Nice to Have You Here 👋
Dear Visitor,
My name is Andrea Fernández, and I graduated with honours in Business Administration and Management from both the University of Alicante (Spain) and Northwestern State University (USA), where I was awarded the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. In addition, I received the 2024 Extraordinary Award for Academic Excellence from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Alicante, as well as the Academic Excellence Award granted by the Germán Bernácer Chair.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Finance (Investment Banking) at CUNEF (Madrid), where I have been selected to represent the institution in the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2026, a global competition that tests participants’ financial analysis capabilities and professional ethics at the highest level.
Professionally, I have gained experience as an Audit Intern at Auren (Madrid), one of Spain’s leading audit firms. Previously, during my post-completion OPT in the United States, I worked at The United Firm (Dallas, Texas), where I was responsible for contract review and drafting, interdepartmental coordination, and document management within a highly demanding Anglo-American legal environment.
My profile combines a strong technical foundation in accounting and financial analysis with an international perspective developed through academic and professional experiences in Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom, where I participated in the International Relations Immersive Programme at the London School of Economics in 2026.
I am a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, full professional proficiency in English, and a genuine commitment to finance approached from an ethical, rigorous and responsible perspective.
My vocation for the international environment, shaped by both my academic and professional journey as well as my exposure to different cultures and economic realities, has provided me with a global outlook that I consider to be a distinctive asset.
I'm Always Open to New Professional Experiences, Cultures and Ways of Thinking
